Carpenter / Maintenance Technician

Bailey’s Real Estate & Property Management is looking for a Carpenter / Maintenance Technician to service our apartment communities in Clinton, Sherburne, and Oneida.

The Caprenter/Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be entrusted to preserve the good condition and functionality of our properties. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks such as painting, changing locks, plumbing repair, HVAC troubleshooting, changing or replacing electrical devices, and more.

The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all safety guidelines. We take pride in our properties and the goal is to maintain the properties in the best possible condition.

Main job duties include, but are not limited to:

-Maintain curb appeal, pleasant appearance, and clean communities

-Apartment renovations: Install flooring, tile, cabinets, doors, molding, closet systems, bathrooms, and more

-Apartment turnovers: cleaning, prepping, painting, and repairing units to be move in ready

-General Maintenance repairs: minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance troubleshooting, maintaining heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality

-Assist other personnel as needed.

On-call service is only for true emergencies that can not wait until regular working hours. These do not happen regularly.

​

Qualifications:

-Must have experience in related fields

-Ability to regularly lift 50+lbs

-Resident focused

-A self-starter and reliable team member

-Carpentry, plumbing, painting, and basic electrical knowledge

-Strong organizational and technical skills to service apartment units and property

-Valid driver’s license

-Ability to regularly walk, climb, kneel, crouch, and stand for long periods

-Ability to work outside in all weather elements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
